Why Pray?
Prayer isn't a ritual into the void — it's a real conversation with a God who actually listens.
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us" (1 John 5:14).
If the Son of God depended on prayer, so do we. He gave His own followers the words to start with.
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Prayer is where worry becomes trust.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
